Applications:
  • Electrical Stress Control: Stress control tube, combined with stress relief mastic, smooths out the electrical field at the cable screen ends, preventing insulation breakdown.
  • Insulation and Screen: The heat shrink insulation tube delivers a consistent insulation thickness, meeting or exceeding the cable’s requirements. The semi-conductive/insulation dual-layer heat shrink tube ensures a void-free interface between the insulation and screen.
  • Metallic Shielding: Copper mesh wrapped around the joint area rebuilds the metallic screen. Soldering or solderless earth connections are available to ensure screen continuity across the joint.
  • Outer Sealing and Protection: The adhesive-coated heat shrink tube provides mechanical protection and chemical resistance, offering the same protection as a cable oversheath.
