  1. At the earthing system site, create a hole using appropriate digging equipment, making sure it’s large enough for the earth pit—typically 1.5 m x 1.5 m x 3.0 m in size.
  2. Set the earth electrode and earth conductor within the dug space based on the earth system design. Utilize Galvanized Iron Plates (at least 500 mm x 500 mm x 10 mm) to maximize earth contact and minimize earth resistance.
  3. Fill the area around the earth electrode with conductive materials, such as sand or gravel, forming a low-resistance link and guaranteeing the Earth Pit is grounded correctly. Employ earth-enhancing compounds for improved resistance if needed.
  4. Carefully position the Earth Pit in the hole, ensuring its stability and levelness. Construct the Earth Pit from reinforced concrete for long-lasting strength and durability.
  5. Establish a connection between the Earth Pit and the earthing system by using a conductor, like a wire or cable. This connection facilitates grounding and allows for easy access and maintenance of the Earth Pit.
