Duties and Responsibilities:

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving growth in export markets through a mix of new customer acquisition and development of existing customers. This role requires building strong distributor relationships, managing EPC/project opportunities, coordinating with internal teams to ensure excellent execution, and maintaining disciplined pipeline management.

The Sales Manager is responsible for:

We are seeking a hands-on engineer to design, prototype, and validate DC String Combiner Boxes for utility-scale and commercial PV installations (1000 V and 1500 V systems).

This is a leadership-track role involving full product lifecycle: concept → design → prototype → testing → production → field feedback.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Product Design & Specification

  • Develop detailed technical specifications for 1000 V and 1500 V DC Combiner Boxes.
  • Create schematic diagrams, wiring layouts, and component selection per IEC 61439-2, IEC 60269-6, and IEC 61643-31.
  • Finalize BoM including enclosure, fuses, SPDs, isolators, monitoring modules, terminals, glands, and busbars.

2.  Prototyping & Testing

  • Oversee prototype builds with Axis factory teams and suppliers.
  • Conduct validation tests: IP65/IP66 ingress, temperature rise, dielectric, and mechanical integrity.
  • Liaise with third-party test labs for IEC certification and type testing.

3.  Manufacturing & DfM

  • Work with production to optimize manufacturability, wiring layouts, assembly jigs, and QA processes.
  • Support sourcing team in vendor evaluation for critical components.

4.  Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Axis teams in design, supply chain, and marketing to align the combiner box with Axis’ solar BOS strategy.

5. Documentation & Compliance

  • Prepare drawings (AutoCAD/Creo), test reports, data sheets, and O&M manuals.
